What did the project involve?
Archbishops School in York reached out to A&S Landscape when they were looking for a solution to increase their dining capacity. They wanted to work with our canopy consultants to design a canopy that was robust and would comfortably host students for their lunch all year round (throughout various weathers and temperatures). After listening to their concerns, we supplied the school with two different canopy designs; we installed a large Motiva Duo™ to the front of the school – which was enclosed with glass sides – and we installed an even larger enclosed Motiva Linear™ canopy to the rear of the school, including both heating and lighting options. Both canopies made use of a Slate Grey Duracoat™ on all steelwork, combined with our popular Opal roof – that magnifies light into the area. The staff at the school, who live by the phrase “Life to the fullest”, were pleased with both our services and the finished product, providing us with excellent feedback: “A&S Landscape were our preferred supplier, the quality of the installation was par excellence, and overall the project was outstanding”. The finished canopies are both modern and built to last, so the school can take advantage of these Exceptional Covered Spaces™ for many years to come.
