We will work with you to put in place safety procedures in advance of our installation so that you have peace of mind that your children and staff will be safe throughout the process.

Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks used to be known as Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks. They ensure that staff are certified as fit and proper to work with children.

The ‘DoE Keeping children safe in education 2021 Statutory guidance for schools and colleges’ guidance that is ‘’For all other staff (e.g. contractors) who have an opportunity for regular contact with children who are not engaging in regulated activity, an enhanced DBS certificate, which does not include a barred list check, will be appropriate.”

While we would never employ someone who we didn’t think was fit and proper, not all of our work is with schools and in peak seasons we may bring in supplementary labour. We simply ask that if it is your policy not to let anyone onto the site who is not DBS checked, to let us know as soon as possible so that the correct team can be assigned.
