Playground Shade Sail Installed at Ysgol Twm O’r Nant School in Denbighshire

Ysgol Twm O’r Nant School in Denbighshire, were in need of an outdoor shade structure to protect their primary-aged pupils during the summer months. They worked with our consultants to review their needs, and design the best canopy for their space.

What was the project brief?

We provided the school with our Maxima Sail™ canopy, measuring 6000mm by 6000mm. This structure features solid steel uprights in a Slate Grey Duracoat™ for maximum longevity, and has become a vibrant addition to the playground. The Maxima Sail™ canopy not only adds a bright pop of colour with its shade cloth fabric roof in Bundeena Blue, but also offers significant protection from up to 98% of harmful UV rays.

This installation has greatly enhanced the outdoor experience for the students, providing a safe and shaded area that encourages outdoor activities and learning throughout the sunny months.
