We had an excellent time working on this cycle storage solution in Minsterley, Shropshire. When Minsterley Primary School contacted us, we began working together to make sure their cycle storage really met all of their needs.

Our Cycle Store has been a great introduction. At 8000mm x 25000mm and in a colourful, vibrant Red (RAL 3020) this new cycle storage really stands out and provides a secure and robust area for bicycles to be locked up. We’ve also installed cycle shelters at many other schools across the country, including Ashby School.
Last minute changes are an inevitability on schools and when working with Minsterley Primary School we were happy to accommodate some changes at the end of the process that meant this space really met their needs with mesh panel ends and bespoke scooter parking.

What can schools and parents do to encourage children to cycle to school and what are the benefits of doing so?
With estimations that by 2050 70% of girls and 55% of boys will be overweight or obese, there has never been a more key time to cycle to school. Even so, more parents than ever are driving their children to school. A Sustrans survey showed that whilst 12% of parents were driven to school when they were pupils, currently 35% of children are driven to school, so what has changed?

Large White Play Area Canopy Designed for Hollinswood Primary School
In combination with a specialist firm of architects our engineers made a straight polycarbonate roof canopy in Hollinswood Primary School, Telford, Shropshire. The full contract involved one Motiva™ monopitch straight roof canopy measuring 12000mm X 11000mm including Alu-Tuff™ aluminium box profile guttering and downpipes in matching Dura-coat™ colour finish. Also the supply and installation of one glazed panel from the top of the existing building to the top of the canopy.

In combination with our building contractor client our team created a straight polycarbonate roof canopy for St Andrews CE Primary School, Shifnal, Shropshire. The full contract involved the supply and installation of one Motiva™ monopitch straight roof canopy measuring 10200mm X 4000/1200mm and included for our Alu-Tuff™ aluminium box profile guttering and downpipes in matching Dura-coat™ colour finish.

The job involved one 5000mm x 5000mm Maxima™ tensile shade cloth fabric sail comprising one sail on four uprights including for all stainless steel fixtures and fittings with four post protector pads.

In combination with our building contractor client our team produced a straight polycarbonate roof canopy for Severn Valley Visitors Centre Alveley, Bridgnorth, Shropshire.
