What was the project brief?
John Spendluffe Technology College in Lincolnshire sought to expand their dining facilities to accommodate a growing student population. With several options under consideration, the school aimed to partner with a consultant who could guide them through the process and help deliver an optimal solution for their space.
What was our canopy solution?
We supplied John Spendluffe Technology College with our Motiva Duo™ design, our most popular dining canopy solution. This versatile design is easily customisable to create large open spaces to accommodate a large number of students. John Spendluffe Technology College selected a sleek Slate Grey Duracoat™ finish paired with an Opal polycarbonate roof, resulting in a simplistic and modern look. The canopy was completed with the addition of glass side panelling to one elevation, to include the school’s branding and to provide added protection from winds. These premium materials have been carefully selected to provide exceptional durability and long-lasting performance, reflecting our commitment to quality and our Over and Above™ calibre of customer service.
About the client
John Spendluffe Technology College is a secondary modern school with a growing pupil intake, currently supporting 630 students. Their Headteacher, Simon Curtis, shares that he is “excited to be able to continue to develop the excellence which already exists here, and I am confident and determined that JSTC will continue to go from strength to strength.”. We are excited to have played a part in the ongoing developments at the school, and are sure that they are going to love their canopies for many years to come.
