Modern Dining Canopy Installed for Bloxwich Academy
Discover how Bloxwich Academy increased their dining capacity, by adding a modern outdoor canopy that comfortably accommodates over 150 pupils. By collaborating with A&S Landscape the school benefitted from our comprehensive, start-to-finish services. This included a sleek, modern resin floor finish, along with integrated heating and lighting systems, ensuring the canopy is comfortable and functional throughout the year.

What was the project brief?
Bloxwich Academy were in need of extra dining space due to their growing student intake; the school were having to host multiple lunch sittings over three hours in order to prevent over-congestion within their dining hall, and to ensure students could comfortably enjoy their meals. Their Trust, Matrix Academy Trust, reached out to our consultants to explore designs for this space.
What was our canopy solution?
After working closely with the school to assess their area and requirements, we provided our modern Motiva Vista™ design which provides ample, enclosed dining space for students to enjoy during break and lunch times. We installed full heating and lighting systems, which ensure that the canopy remains comfortable for students to use, even during the winter months. To ensure the canopy was turn-key ready, we provided full resin flooring which perfectly finished off the space, creating a bright and inviting canopy for the students to enjoy.
About the client
Bloxwich Academy are one of seven schools within the Matrix Academy Trust, and provide education for both Primary and Secondary aged pupils. Their students follow the motto ‘be the best you can be’ and the school supports students to do so from the first moment they work through their doors. Headteacher, Ms Shepard, shares that, “Being the Headteacher makes me feel extremely proud and enthusiastic about our shared journey ahead.”.
