Bunbury Aldersey provides a wonderful environment for their children. A happy school where everyone matters, there is a strong philosophy here about providing an education that contributes to all areas of their life whilst fostering an environment of support.

Bunbury Aldersey believes in setting high expectations with a broad curriculum and knows that every part of the school experience contributes to the children’s success.
Which is a long way around of simply saying ‘they care’.
And it is this caring that carries through to the building design. When Bunbury Aldersey was looking for some outdoor playground shelter they contacted A&S Landscape to make sure they got the best results they could aim for.
We worked closely with the school to install a Motiva Mono at 4000mm x 4000mm in a smart green steelwork (RAL 6032) with Alu-Tuff™ box profile guttering and downpipes finished in Dura-Coat™ paint to match.
This generous and effective shelter was completed with clear polycarbonate roofing that acts as protection from the sun as well.
Playground areas and any outdoor play equipment is a good way to give your pupils a healthy option to get a break from the classroom. Pupils getting exercise while spending time with their friends is something that schools should certainly endorse, but it’s also immensely important that the fun isn’t ruined by a child getting wounded while using the playground.
Playgrounds can become hazardous for a wide variety of different factors. Unsafe behaviour is certainly something that teachers and students alike should be on the lookout for. But alongside protecting children from the weather, uneven and improper surfaces can also cause slips – and unsafe or defective outdoor equipment can suddenly turn the fun sour.

The Motiva Mono can be installed in almost any size and, as part of our Motiva range, is one of the most popular options we have. Smart, yet attractive, the Motiva Mono has been used as an Entrance Canopy, Dining Shelter and Classroom extension canopy.
