Stratford-Upon-Avon College wanted to add an outdoor canopy that would make the outdoor space more usable, providing students with a designated to eat or socialise throughout the year.
Squirrel Grey - RAL NO. 7000
Porcelain Green
Stratford-Upon-Avon College wanted to install one of our canopies as a part of their recent project to completely redevelop their campus to provide students with a new and exciting area. They wanted a free-standing canopy that would provide year-round protection and wanted the design to be harmonious with the contemporary design of the campus. Stratford-Upon-Avon College was looking for the best of the best, and so we were pleased to work with them on this project to ensure all of their needs were met.
Upon working with our team of specialists, Stratford-Upon-Avon College were very impressed with our Maxima Sail™ design and chose 5000mm x 5000mm dimensions. Squirrel Grey steelwork was combined with a Porcelain Green fabric roof for a fresh and contemporary design. The college was looking for a top-of-the-range canopy, and here at A&S Landscape we strive to make the best-looking, and longest-lasting canopies; we are so confident in our Maxima Sail™ design that we offer the longest guarantees in the market.
Stratford-Upon-Avon College is based in a historic market town – which is the home of Shakespeare! They pride themselves on being an employer-responsive college that has courses, apprenticeships, and teaching to cater to individuals of all ages and backgrounds, to support career developments in a vast range of sectors. The principal, Dr. Rebecca Gater, shares that the facilities at Stratford-Upon-Avon, “are top-class and provide outstanding support for all of our students”.
Here at A&S Landscape, we have been manufacturing and installing fabric canopies for over 40 years, and have perfected our craft! Our Maxima Sail™ is an extremely versatile design, offering protection from both rain and sun; with their variable size options, they can be the perfect shelter solution for a wide variety of areas. Here are a few common ways our clients love to use our shades:
Whether it be a restaurant, school, or café, our Maxima Sail™ canopies are a popular choice due to their impressive, modern design. Our shade sails can shelter customers or pupils from all harsh weather and can be configured to cover areas of various shapes and sizes – see how we covered a large seating area at Ysgol Morgan Llywd in Wrexham .
The smart design of our fabric shade sails makes them the perfect solution for a covered seating area. The design’s versatility allows us to cover small social areas, such as at Carden Park Hotel and Spa. We can also make use of larger shades, or a collection of shades to cover larger areas – as achieved at Chobham Adventure Farm in Surrey.
Our shade sails are a popular choice for playground canopies; the bright colour options and eye-catching design are sure to enhance any playground. These shade sails are an optimal upgrade for any playground – protecting the children from sunburn by eradicating harmful UV rays, and allowing them to stay dry in rainy weather – which ultimately allows the children to stay safe, and make use of the playground all year round. See how we achieved this at Sprouts Play Barn in Oxfordshire.
These shade sails are truly an adaptable design and could be used to cover a small walkway or entrance. Epsom College in Surrey loved the look of these fabric canopies and chose to adapt our typical design to make the canopy wall-mounted – which allowed them to sufficiently cover a narrow walkway without taking up any more floor space.
