The Bridge Primary School in Suffolk Cover Playground Areas
The Bridge Primary School has brilliant playground facilities, but it was lacking a shaded area. The staff wanted to add a canopy to the site so it could be used throughout the year by the pupils.

A&S Landscape installed two fabric umbrellas, each measuring 5000mm X 5000mm. The Maxima Umbrellas both have dark green fabric roofing, which helps the canopies blend into the surroundings. The slate grey steelwork is finished with green post pads, to provide additional protection.
Now the pupils of The Bridge Primary School can enjoy their break times outside in the fresh air, all-year-round. This allows them to let off steam and refresh ahead of their next lessons. Whether the children want protection from the rain or the sun, the new umbrella canopies are the perfect place to play under. Already the shelters have been a huge success at the school and are a popular area with the pupils.
The teachers can also choose to hold lessons outside, without having to plan around the weather. This alternative learning environment will help to engage the class as the pupils get to learn outside of the four walls of a classroom. Parents could also wait under the two canopies at the end of the school, covered from the elements.
