What did the project involve?
We installed two Maxima Sail™ canopies at New City College, each measuring 5000mm x 5000mm and standing on four uprights. The staff – at the spacious, self-contained Hackney Campus – selected this product because they liked its visually-appealing design that is available in a wide range of colours. Out of all the choices, they settled on Lime Fizz roofs with contrasting Squirrel Grey steelwork, as well as post protector pads for additional safety measures. Everything came together as two identical, beautifully-presented shade sails that revolutionised the outdoor areas at the college.
