What was the project?
The A&S construction team added a Motiva Linear™ straight polycarbonate roof canopy to Harrow Gate Primary Academy. This was sized 8300mm X 6000mm to completely cover an outdoor play patio adjacent to the classroom. The Squirrel Grey steel structure, with integrated guttering, is built to last and comes equipped with electric shutter rollers on both sides as well as a glazed front panel and opal polycarbonate roofing. The glazed canopy is also decorated with attractive vinyl designs.
Pupils now have an extra area to play outside all-year-round whilst staff have additional space for storage and for making a multi-use classroom setting, outdoors.
